ICDM 2026 launches the PhD Forum, providing a platform for PhD students, postdoctoral researchers, and early-career researchers to present ongoing work, receive feedback, and explore career opportunities. Submissions are due June 26, 2026.
Call for Demo Papers Launched
ICDM 2026 invites submissions to the Demo Track, which provides a platform for researchers and practitioners to showcase innovative, fully implemented data mining systems through interactive demonstrations. Demo papers are limited to 4 pages in IEEE 2-column format and will be reviewed under a single-blind process. The submission deadline is August 20, 2026.
Call for Education Forum Papers Launched
ICDM 2026 launches the Education Forum, inviting submissions on innovative approaches to teaching and learning data mining and AI. The track focuses on pedagogical methods, curriculum design, experiential learning, and educational data mining.
Call for Applied Track Papers Released
For the first time, ICDM 2026 adds a brand-new Applied Track alongside the existing Research Track. It welcomes submissions on real-world data mining applications, industrial systems, interdisciplinary studies, new datasets, and comprehensive algorithm analysis. Manuscripts follow the IEEE two-column format with a 10-page limit under single-blind review.
Calls for Workshops, and Tutorials, and BlueSky Track Papers Launched
ICDM 2026 simultaneously launches calls for Workshops and Tutorials. Workshop proposals are due March 14, 2026; Tutorial proposals are due June 6, 2026, aiming to enrich the conference content and foster in-depth exchanges.

ICDM 2026 opens its call for original research papers spanning all data mining fields, including algorithms, deep learning, large models, multi-modal mining and diverse applications. Submissions follow IEEE two-column format within 10 pages under strict triple-blind review rules.
